Frequently Asked Questions
Get StartedWhat Is a Good Age to Start Voice Lessons?
Because our voice lessons are individually tailored, students can begin as early as age 4. For younger singers, lessons focus on healthy vocal habits, pitch matching, breathing, and musical play—laying the groundwork for future technique in a fun and age-appropriate way. As students grow, instruction naturally evolves to include more structured vocal work, performance skills, and musical interpretation. Whether a young beginner or a teen with specific goals, our teachers adapt each lesson to support the student’s voice, confidence, and love of singing.
Teens and adults are welcome and often find that voice lessons complement other instruments they may be learning. Professional singing instruction can be deeply rewarding—especially when guided by a teacher who understands both technique and artistry. Whether you’re enrolling your child or taking lessons yourself, our experienced faculty is here to support your growth and help you reach your musical goals.

What Styles of Singing Do You Teach?
We offer instruction in a wide range of vocal styles—including classical, opera, musical theatre, pop, rock, jazz, gospel, country, and R&B.
Our teachers tailor each lesson to the student’s interests and goals, whether that means preparing for a musical theatre audition, learning to sing like a favorite artist, or building a strong foundation in classical technique.
We believe that strong fundamentals support all vocal styles, so students also work on healthy vocal production, breath control, tone, diction, and ear training—skills that translate across genres.
Whether you want to explore multiple styles or focus deeply on one, our faculty will guide you with the expertise and encouragement to help you grow as a confident, versatile singer.
How Qualified Are Your Voice Instructors?
Our voice lesson instructors have received their musical education from prestigious institutions all over the country!
They bring professional performance and teaching experience to your lessons. Many of our students report that they feel more confident after our lessons. While singing in front of a group of people can be nerve-wracking, working with a coach regularly can help to assuage some of those fears. If your anxieties are keeping you from singing, one of our coaches may be able to give you the encouragement that you need.
When you work with a coach, you’ll receive constructive feedback on the way you sing. Your teacher will work to keep you motivated and will teach you techniques that will help you remain poised and collected when you sing in front of others.
