About Luisa Rodriguez
Luisa’s journey with Ensemble Performing Arts began on Day 1 as a voice teacher at Dana V Music, the very first Ensemble school. After three years at Dana V, Luisa enthusiastically began overseeing recruitment for Ensemble. Her favorite part of the recruitment role is showing how Ensemble cares deeply about its teachers, staff, and students.
Holding a Masters degree in Music from the University of Colorado-Boulder, Luisa is a performer, teacher, and passionate vocal pedagogue. When not recruiting or teaching, she is often making or talking about music with her husband, Brad, who is also a pianist and former Ensemble teacher. Well-versed in all kinds of music, their recent past collaborations include recitals of lesser-known Latin American composers, The Music of Edvard Grieg, self-producing local opera productions, and even a little bit of jazz here and there. Luisa loves hanging out with her husband and two teenagers, trivia, karaoke, and dancing of all kinds, including tap and salsa!
Musical Interests: Debating Stravinsky vs. Prokofiev, Elton John vs. David Bowie, and figuring out how all of these might relate to each other.
