About Rocco Yeingst
Rocco is a seasoned drummer and educator based in the Tampa Bay Area, bringing over 20 years of drum set experience and more than a decade of steel drum expertise to the stage. Known for his infectious energy and passion for performance, Rocco believes in the power of being both an entertainer and a musician. His performances span a wide range of venues—from private parties and corporate events to Florida’s top theme parks. Whether he’s laying down grooves at a private event, jamming on steel drums at Busch Gardens, or stilt-walking at Legoland, Rocco brings joy, excitement, and musical excellence everywhere he goes.
Rocco joined the Ensemble Performing Arts team in 2019, becoming part of our fourth school, Tampa Music School. At the time, he brought with him over four years of leadership experience managing both a School of Rock franchise and Tampa Music School. His background positioned him perfectly to thrive under the Ensemble vision and contribute meaningfully from day one.
Today, Rocco serves as the Regional Manager for our Florida schools. In this role, he provides direct support and guidance to the General Managers in his region, tailoring his leadership to their individual needs. He invests deeply in his team, ensuring that each member is equipped, confident, and aligned with our organization’s mission and values. Beyond day-to-day operations, Rocco plays a vital role in shaping processes and driving growth across the organization.
He holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of South Florida.
